The 'off' amount and percentage signifies the calculated difference between the seller's price for the item elsewhere and the seller's price on eBay. I had to replace my old mobile as I was changing service provider and my old phone could not be unlocked.

I chose this one as my son already had one so I could see what it was like. Likes - I can keep all my regular use numbers on the opening screen, bright easily read screen, touch screen so no keys, reasonable battery life of about 4 days standby, it can carry my best music as well with additional micro SD card, 5 megapixel camera takes good photos and video.

Dislikes - rather small touch keys for my fingers, some of the menus can be a bit obscure, the manual is very basic and does not cover all the features, loading of music, games, apps etc. I bought this phone because I've had lg phones in the past and been very happy with them, this phone is just as reliable the battery life is good as long as you're not on the internet all the time.

It is great for downloading pictures from the phone directly to facebook and the touch screen is very responsive. I'd recommend you buy a protector for the screen and silicone case which protects the phone in your bag. All in all it is easy to use. I would recommend this phone if you can't quite afford to splash out on a smartphone.

I bought it because my last mobile was dropped on the floor and now lives in the dustbin. What I like about this mobile is it has a power save and are no buttons to press when in your pocket, which helps by not making anonymous calls.

I found it easy to navigate the menus after a coupls of days getting used to the touch screen, you do'nt need a heavy touch, especially with the scroll bar at the side.

I like the Email facilty and it is quite cheap to retrieve your emails and read them, but I would like to see LG provide this service for free as a good will gesture to customers buying this mobile. Havent tried the browser given the size of the screen I prefer to surf on the PC, I could live without using the browser.

What I don't like about this mobile is you cant erase the sounds or pictures that come with it, which is a pity but something I could live with. The camera is reasonable and easy to use but needs a steady hand for sure.

Not too impressed with FM radio but perhaps thats nitpicking on my part. Build quality is reasonable for a phone at this price too. There's even some fake brushed metal on the button area at the bottom of the front fascia. The long edges are well detailed, with a thin silver strip against the black plastic that forms the bulk of the chassis. The right-hand edge of the handset houses thin volume rockers and a camera shortcut on this strip, while the left-hand edge has a micro USB charger sitting under a hinged cover.

North America. Home Reviews Mobile Phones. Touch too much Decked out mostly in glossy black, with a chrome trim around the edges, the Snap is certainly a good-looking handset.

Its slim, 12mm-thick frame and curvy edges also make it comfortable to hold. Although there are three buttons on the front of the handset, most of the phone's features are controlled via its 76mm 3-inch touchscreen. Once you've been guided through the initial set-up wizard, you're presented with a home screen that's divided into three panels.

The first acts as a repository for your widgets. There are a number of widgets included as standard, such as an 'analogue' clock, calendar and mini music player. The second, 'Livesquare' panel shows recent activity, such as incoming calls and messages from your contacts, with each person represented by a tiny avatar.

The final panel provides a location in which to store eight of your favourite contacts. It's a similar set-up to Samsung's TouchWiz system, but it feels more restrictive and less intuitive to use. Open the main menu and you'll find a plethora of other icons arranged across two screens.

These icons range from custom Java apps to shortcuts that simply launch the associated Web site in the phone's fairly basic and sluggish browser. Although Samsung has recently made the jump to capacitive screens with mid-range phones like the Monte , LG has opted to equip the Snap with the resistive kind, which is less responsive.

While the screen is fairly sensitive to touch input, there are occasions when you'll find yourself having to press it a couple of times before it will register your input correctly. This is especially noticeable when you're using the on-screen Qwerty keyboard. Nevertheless, the screen, although fairly small, has a decent resolution for a phone in this price bracket -- x pixels.
